You weren't kidding, this was heavy. I'm guilty of getting the satisfaction of seeing something I've posted get clicks, comments, and reactions. Thankfully, never to a point where it ruins my day if it doesn't do well. I've also never been one to react to negativity with negativity or dog pile on things, there's enough of that out there and if I can't respond in a positive way I just don't respond. Fantastic job with such a tough subject boss.

That's a great outlook, Jay. It's tough, especially when you're creating stuff, to no care about the likes and comments. It's super validating. But when those likes and comments aren't even an accurate accounting of reality, but rather what the algorithm decided is possible, it's not worth very much. You've always been awesome about putting positivity out into the world online, especially for indie creators. I absolutely admire that!

Another stellar read. But also another article that really causes me to think, and think deeply. And if I'm being honest not a lot really does that for me, so know that I truly appreciate this.

I'm really glad these newsletters have been resonating. This issue, in particular, was pretty hard to write, but I'm glad people are connecting with the ideas. Appreciate you, Sean!
